Goodbye Ms. Mata

I know, I know...I've been MIA but let's just cut to the chase...

I'M FINALLY 21!!!!

Yes, my birthday was last monday and I've finally turned the golden age! 

Last weekend Anthony came into town and we literally went out like every night and I had so much fun! Last Saturday we had a get together at my house with my family and danced till the wee hours of the morning! Any time that I spend with my family is the BEST time!

Since my birthday was on a Monday which is somewhat crappy, I still managed to go out at midnight Sunday night to have my first legal drink with my friend Danitzza! Jäger Bombs, Silk Panties, Piña Coladas...let's just say I was feeling great!

Then this past Friday my parents and I went away to San Antonio for the weekend to celebrate some more and have fun at Fiesta! Probably one of the best weekends EVER! Drinks, food, music, good people...how could anything possibly go wrong!?

What happens on your 21st birthday...

Clearly ends up on my blog! Duh!

This past weekend I went to San Antonio to celebrate Anthony's 21st birthday. This weekend was very interesting to say the least. We had so much fun and the weekend was definitely one for the books! Here's a recap of this weekend...

Friday we met up with Anthony's best friend Ryan and some of his frat brothers for some dinner before we got the night started (note that I am the only girl in this group tonight)...After dinner at Perico's we headed to a bar called Cantina which was a blast. From the outside it doesn't look like much but once you go in it's a whole other story. I think Anthony definitely found his new favorite spot in San Antonio. The bartenders basically hooked us up all night and made Anthony take a gazillion shots (don't even know how he's alive right now)...

 Then an hour later...

Just a little snippet of what I had to deal with 

After a looooong night of taking care of this guy, he finally woke up and we headed to his house to get ready to have his birthday lunch with his parents. What better than to go to BJ's brewhouse on your 21st? (amazing food and killer beer!)...

After lunch we headed to his house to take a much needed nap! Later that night some of his family members came over and we sang happy birthday and just hung out before we really got our round 2 started. That night we went out with his cousins and brother and met up with some more of their friends. I actually got to have fun this night instead of baby sitting :P We went to a bar on the river walk that had this neat band and then after we met up with some people at Spy Bar where I got to let loose and dance the night away! Then after we of course got our favorite Mama Margies, grubbed, and went to sleep.

Sunday was our day to just rest up and enjoy each others company before I left Monday morning. We had lunch, went to see a movie and basically just lounged the rest of the day. I'm so happy this weekend was a memorable one for him! Now you know what's coming up?

MY 21ST BIRTHDAY IS IN 2 WEEKS! 

Yep, it's my turn now and I am beyond excited! Hope Anthony is ready to swap places!
